*Sealing Your Control Surfaces*

I don't like to use clear tape. After a while dirt and fuel gets under the edges and it looks bad. Then it's a pain to get off. I just use ultracote or monokote whatever the plane is covered in.

Hi,
I have used the clear sleeves for laminating A3 posters cut into strips to seal control surfaces. It is heat activated (turn your iron way up) and sticks like the proverbial to a blanket. Just make sure that put the strips on with the control surface at maximum deflection to avoid binding.
Cheers,
Colin
