Hey everyone....ive been flying for a little while with a nexstar and i seen one of the hobby lobby shock flyers out at our feild and i was wondering if that would be ok to move to. I like it cause its small and the 3d stuff it can do...any ideas? Steven

A club member has one, but he's been flying 3D for quite a while. I'm guessing it's going to be a real handful for you, but at least it's foam, cheap, and easy to repair.
The real expense comes in if you power it sufficiently for 3D. It really requires a brushless motor (and ESC), plus LiPoly battery pack. The plane may be $35, but it requires at least $200 in flight gear.

I've heard these aren't real durable......if you're coming off of a trainer, and want to crash a 3D foamie, get the SX-3. I forget who makes it....but you can search here. My buddy has one......it's crashed so many times it's not even funny....you just pick it up and give it another toss. The fuselage will literally bend in half and spring right back. [X(]
