I've never seen a wing come appart in the air however I was just pointing out that from the full scale aerobatics point of view why you would cut the throttle just before reaching the top of a loop. Of course that doesn't mean that cutting it to lessen the stress on the wing is not a valid point as well.

There's different reasons for things. Nobody really worries too much about just how round a trainer's loop is, but if it's carrying too much speed the wing coming apart can be a concern. Just another thing to learn.

I appreciate the info since I may avoid an accident because of this information some day however I'm sure you'll agree that if you're going to do a loop on a trainer you're trying to learn how to do it right so by putting the little extra effort into trying to make it as circular as possible by giving some back pressure on the top of the loop and using the throttle to make it more exact would be a good thing.

If you stay in this hobby there will be a cure for cocky,because at some point that trainer will not look new anymore unless you give up flying humility will come nothing against you personally it is just part of the hobby
