Default 4 * 40 building 1/2 done

Well I'm about 1/2 done building my 4* kit. Yippie. It's starting to look good. I've got the fuse together and drilled the wing for the dowel. That didn't look like a good set up. The hole turned out kind of ragged in the inside of the wing so I'm going to beef it up with wood and epoxy and re-drill it. It feels nice and secure though. It's exciting to see it coming together. I showed the progress to my wife and tried to explain how it all works and she just says "that's nice honey." I can see she doesn't know what I'm talking about but she's glad I have something to work on. I can't wait to get this puppy out and fly it. All the ones I've seen at the field look awesome out there. [

if you name the plane after her she might think it's even nicer.
i cutted " Sweetie Sherry" out of monocoat and slapped it on my wing.
i got this response " order anything you want honey "

CG! WTG! I found drilling the hole for the dowel and for the wing securing bolts the most stressful thing about building the 4 Star.

Oh yea! Where are the freakin pictures??????

I belive it is against a RCU un-written law to talk about a particular plane and not post photos!

No, dont laugh, Im serious!!

In fact, Im reporting you right now!

Does anyone know who I contact about reporting the violation of an RCU un-written law?

Okay! Okay! I'll get some pictures taken and posted. What was I thinking? Swager you have to know you inspired me in the first place to build this. I saw your story about building and had to go for it. The guys at the field suggested to get an ARF but I wanted to build one.

Im glad the thread helped someone.

There is nothing like taking a bunch of balsa and building it into a plane. When the objects first start taking shape to form a plane is a great feeling!

Continued good luck and keep us informed!!
