Default G2 controller as buddy box?

I've got a Futaba computer radio (T8UAP s) and was wondering If I could use the G2 controller as a buddy box. If I am correct it is manufactured by futaba for GP. I'm not sure if I ever had the two hooked up (the cable ports are different shapes [thanks futaba!! planned obsolescence?]. I know I had my radio hooked up when I had the original real flight but it had a parallel port adapter, I think.

[sm=idea.gif] So if I could cobble a connector cable to fit both, could this work, or should I waste my time elsewhere?

Thanx, man.
