Hello all. Feels funny to be posting a "Beginners" post but I am one when it comes to a ducted fan engine.
I actually want to build my next Northstar and put a ducted fan on it. I just have no idea what to look for in fan units or power plants?????
Would appreciate any help out there. I know there is a ton of D/F guys out there as this was the mainstay before turbine. Lord knows I can't fork out 4k for a turbine, my wife would kill me first.

Actually I am looking for several things with this northstar that I want to go ducted.
I want a plane that is unique, I really enjoy re-engineering and building.
I want to get started in ducted fans.
And yes I want fast. This is the best way I can think to get a faster star and as fast as mine was before I figured this may be a good transition to jets.
Thanks for the reply
