Default Flight Craft Cardinal

Hey Guys,
A couple months ago I got a flightcraft Cessna 177 ove the internet. I figured It would Be a Nice adition to my fleet and a great float plane.. However it's giving me all kinds of heck now that I've started assembly. But before questions here are some specs.
Fuse: Plastic <thick heavy stuff>
Wings 58 <approx.> span, foam core, THICK plastic joiner, Little Dihedral
Tail fethers: Thin foam

Now for The problems..
The Wing:
Trailig edge cap doesn''t fit.. Its supposed to lock TE into back of wing saddle but is too big.. Should I just make a new one? Or modify wing saddle.

Wing bolts have little to bit into. The Hardwood block would be glued to the plastic fuse and could EASILY rip out.. Modify the system, or rubber band system? I sort of like the rubber band Idea as my dad may learn on this one.

The tail feathers WOULD NOT for any reason epoxy into place so I had to use dowel rod to pin through the fuse and sabs to keep them in place, really sturdy now.

Single Aileron servo is held in place by 2 plastic poles.. Really don't like this system so should I just use dual aileron servo's?

Had to add nose wheel brackets.

I think That may be it... If I think Of more I'll post them. Does any one have any Idea on how in the world this thing will fly??????! It's alot smaller than my trainer <Hobbico superstar> But weighes probably 5.5 6 lbs. and has no engine, radio gear, gas tan, nothing!

Tis Isn't on topic but does anyone know where to find a muffler for a super Tigre 51? I need one to be smaller and increase power, Thanks
