Default How to charge Li-poly cells on a Commander?

Hello all,
Although I am not a rc plane pilot I am however in need of your expertise. I have a Lithium-poly 7.4V 2450mah 10-12C discharge rate.
I have a Gm Commander charger and it says it will charge li-poly and I know it will. My question is, What do I set every thing on so as not to damage this pack?
I can adjust the output voltage to anthing and set the maximum voltage as to not go over a cetain limit. I was told that a 7.4v li-poly battery actually charges much higher so I don't know what to set the limits on my charger. All help would be apprieciated.
Oh I am in RC just down on the ground. The li-poly is for a 12th scale and 18th scale car.

Thanks,
Stephen <><
