Hi,
just wondering if anyone knows of a good net weather site where I could get some
information on how the weather is gonna be tomorrow (Saturday). I just rebuilt my plane
about 3 weeks ago and haven't had chance to maiden it. I want to make sure the winds
are gonna be light so I can get true settings on the trims.

I hope the news on the weather is good news...

Where I live, Wellington, New Zealand, it has blown at about 40-60KM/H for three weeks...

Except on the 2 or 3 days when it pixsed with rain all day...

Very Frustrating...

Cheers

Matt

[link=http://www.weatherunderground.com/]Weather Underground[/link]
[link=http://www.weatherbug.com/]Weather Bug[/link]-You can get weather down to your local area or whatever zip code you type in.
Hope that helps.

Thanks for the links, I did have good flying weather last weekend, but had to work.
My plane has been ready to fly for about a month now and I have just been
too busy to fly. Hopefully the forecast is right,
it shows to be partly cloudy with winds NE 6mph\10kmh, this should be
good flying weather (hopefully).

weatherbug has had a pretty notorious history for being a piece of spyware. they CLAIM to have cleaned up their act, but that is up in the air... there are alternatives to it...

http://tropicdesigns.net/weatherpulse.php

also, my personal recommendation is go firefox and use the weatherfox plugin. it puts a very customizable forecast on the bottom right corner of the status line of your browser. (you can move it anywhere actually)

I find Yahoo weather quite good also. Just bring up Yahoo and follow the trail to your town.

RCU Member "Chevelle" designed this "Windsock" especially for RC fliers. Works better than any of the commercial crap out there.

I currently run Weather Bug. I also run a spyware detector and I haven't had a problem with Weather Bug to date.

Just my .02.

Thanks for all the help, but it seems that being in the Bahamas complicates finding accurate
wind and weather information. I will keep searching to find someway to find better forecasts
and I thank everyone for their help thus far.
