Will My Plane Fly?

i have recently dug out an old Precedent Hi-Boy from my attic and decided to try and fly it. I built it when I was 15, so the build quality is not exactly great.
My main concern is the gaps between the control surfaces. I have not bevelled any corners (apart from ailerons) to allow for movement. Instead the edges are square but with a gap of about 4mm between the surface ant the tail plane.
Will this have any major effects on the flight?
Thanks in advance for your answers.

That shouldn't be any problem. If you're worried about it, you can seal it with tape, or covering. Just flex the control surface all the way one way, then put it on.

Nope shouldn't have anyproblems[8D]
jettstarblue's is good advice..But I don't think the plane is a fast one but rather a slow flyer? If so you don't HAVE to seen the gaps but would be a good step.
