Default rear end protection

What would make a good plate or skid to protect the tail of lt-40
arf from bad stalled landings?. I've already noticed some damage to the bottom of the tail due to it scrapping the ground. Thanks to all who respond.

You can buy some scuff tape at your local hobby shop.

Default QUICK SOLUTION

Glue a control surface horn to the bottom you can always change it when it wears out.

Default Or use skids

I use these on the wings of my US 40 but they can be used around the tail.

I use these on my US 40 wintips too. Not really needed now that I fly on grass, but they would work great for a tail-skid

Default US 40?

Minnflyer & Scotsman, just curious about the plane that you are referring to that have the wing tip skids installed on - US 40. Are
you referring to the Ultra Stick 40 by Hanger 9. Thanks
