wen i put the disc in and click install a box comes up saying

c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. the system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications.choose 'close' to terminate the application.

and that is all that happens.

Try a manual installation, if its possible. Copy the program folder (if its there) and paste it in C:/. I myself do not have nexstar so I am not sure if the files are already seperated. The installion may be one big compressed file. Can you please list the folders and files found on the CD, it would make this alot easier. (in the format drive:/folder/subfolder/file.extension would be best)

The problem you describe is caused by both viruses and spyware. Do a search for the file autoexec.nt and copy it to c:\windows\system32\. You need to run an updated antivuris program and spyware program. Same stuff I deal with everyday at work.
