Default Field box fuel storage

I am using a Plano 4 drawer tackle box as my field box. I removed the drawers and have plenty of space now to add gear.

What I would like to do is add a tank inside the box for fuel.
I was looking at possibly using 2 dubro 50oz. tanks, which these are plane fuel tanks that usually go in planes.
The space available for the tanks is 9-3/8 x 4-1/2 x 8-1/2. The dubros will fit nicely and will hold almost a gallon of fuel.

Does anyone know of any issues that I might need to be concerned with using these types of tanks inside the box for fuel storage?

The dubro tanks have been the only thing I can find for this purpose so far. My hobby shop has some of the small red tanks but I think they are too big for my box.
Just wondering if anyone has any ideas for other containers for this purpose?

If so please ler me know where I can get them.

Thanks

Dbow

Default RE CLEAR FUEL TANKS

Just make shure the tanks arn,t in direct sun light because I've heard that the UV Rays can kill the nitro in the fuel.I have used a red gas can with a six shooter crank on it and have no complaints on it.Just one more trip to the vehicle when packing and unpacking plane at field. Its not that far maybe 10 feet at the most from the pit area to the parking area.

I would recommend just using the gallon container with a power pannel and pump. as you advance in the hobby you will probably use more and more types of fuel, bigger and gigger engines, example an OS 160 will get 6 to 7 flights out of a one gallon tank, I use different fuel for my 4 strokes. So I have a gallon on my flight boy for 2 strokers and a gallon with a 6 shooter for my 4 strokers.
