Default tail wheel and seperation anxiety?

I have recently purchased a GWS slow stick. and the parts provided will not hold the tail wheel on the wire. any suggestions for an alternate method for keeping it all together (I also tried a gob of glue but to no avail) any help would be greatly appreciate.

Are you sure they didn't give you the parts? I've built three of them things, and they all had the right part. You could just glue the tailwheel to the strut, it really dosen't need to turn, or just turn the tail wheel mount into a tail skid. Not like that plane is known for it's ground handling.....

Btw, I grew up north of you, Richmond IL. If you've ever gone to Lake Geneva you've probablly gone thru it...

Take a small washer, like a #0 or #00, whatever is the closest fit, and solder it to the end of the wire after you put the tailwheel on it. I'm surprised the instructions don't tell you this

There should have been a small plastic bit that presses onto the end of the wire, but with a Slow Stick you won't really need the tail wheel anyway.
