Here is a thread on the voyager that I have a post in. If I had it to do over again and only had the two planes you mention I would tend to go for the Kaos. The voyager is an ok plane, but it is quite limited in its flight capability IMO.
The kaos is flown by other members in the club I am in and it just seems like a better plane. I wil have to defer to Kaos owners since it is just my opinion.

The four star will give you a more predictable stall pattern, and will fly more like your trainer. I will not do all of the 3d stuff the kaos is probably capable of, but is a good second plane. It is capable of a lot more advanced aerobatics than your trainer, and is a good low wing trainer. It will slow down, and glide in like a trainer will. Picking out your next plane is almost as fun as flying them (I said ALMOST). It's certainly almost as adicting.

never flown the Kaos, so I can't say it is better.... BUt I have a 4*60 with a .91 4 stroke and I LOVE it... great fun to fly very predictable, slow lander.....
Great plane... quality build too

I kinda question the kaos as a second. Its a good plane, but quite a jump. The four star does have a little better flight charecteristics as much as i hate to admit it. Not crazy about that plane all the much myself. Kaos if fast, but it will get away from you really quick if you get behind it.

If you were trained on an Avistar and doing full-on aerobatics with it, the Kaos would be a logical choice.
If, on the other hand, your only other experience was a SoarStar, or a Gentle Lady, the recommendation for a 4-star would be more appropriate.
The Voyager gets mixed reviews, probably depending on the experience of the buyer. The Four Star (and Goldberg's Tiger II) get consistently good reviews from the experienced and inexperienced, alike. The Kaos gets good reviews from experienced flyers.
Good luck,

Any of the 2nd type planes will fly more quickly than any trainer and have much quicker reaction times. The flight differences are quite schocking and a pleasent surprize as long as you have the stick time to be able to appreciate it. If you don't, things can get out of control very quickly. I have a Kaos 60 and it would make a good 2nd plane because when things get out of hand, it can be slowed to a crawl and still fly well. I also have a Tiger 2 and I like it better than the Kaos. I also think it looks better. The 4*s float way too much for my likeing. The Tiger2 has a solid predictable decent rate which makes landings a breeze even in windy conditions. Tha Kaos landing characteristics are sort of between the 4* and the Tiger2.[8D]

I really like my Great Planes Kaos 40 arf. It'll do any manuever in the pattern, yet landings and takeoffs are more trainer like than most trainers. I recommend a good 46 ball bearing engine, and, you won't like this- recolor it. The way it comes out of the box it has way too much white and is very hard to see. Check mine in the pic.

I remember mo old second plane. It was a GP easy sport. I'm probably gonna hear about it from you all, but I thought it was an excellent plane when I had it about 6-7 years ago. Not quite a looker, but it was still fun. Lost it to a melted switch harness.
