Hey,
I stabbed my wing with a razor by mistake under the right wing. Its a razor size slice under the wing. Is there a problem? what should I do? I dont want it to get bigger.

Okay, this may seem like an extremely stupid question but I have to ask. So I just put covering on top of it and heat it up and it should cover it up?[:@]

Yes your question is very stupid ... its ok we all do that since we are not in the know! I have asked many also!!! Just cover it on top of the cut and it will start to tack a bit, then use an iron to slowly heat it to make it sick better. Don't let the iron get too hot when you first come to contact, if it is too hot the covering (on the wing and covering strip) will start to shrink faster than it will tack. Happy hunting ...

Contrary to what SOME people here might say, there is no such thing as a stupid question. The ONLY stupid question is the unasked one.
Some of the more experienced people here tend to forget at times that they were newbies once themselves.
If you have questions, ask them.

all I have left is the fusalage which shouldent take so long but the monokote is calling my name and in order for the noises to stop I had to try out a wing and see how it works lol. I will post pictures. I noticed that everyone saying it takes 50 hours for Kits and 10 Hours for ARF's but does it REALLY take that long if you read directions carefully and fully understand everything? For some reason it seems ALOT shorter? specially with the LT-40.

NJAIRSTRIKE-
next time you get a razor that close to it, make it an electric one. Much less damage.
Seriously, any of the suggested repairs will work fine, I have used them all at one time or another. The other day was at the field with a new plane, wind caught wing while laying on a table and flipped it up on the engine poking a hole in the covering. One piece of tape later and it was flying just fine.

Read carefully and you will see that TianCi WAS joking ... come on guys ...
Sarges - you are like one of my best pals ... he used duct tape to recover one side of his horizontal stab!!! It still flies.
NJ - some ARFs can be ready in 4 hours, I have done a few before. Especially with plug in wings. Hehehee ... then I realise that I forgot to attach the tail wheel into the rudder!!! Now that is STUPID!!!
