Default 2nd choice

Hi everyone, I've put together a 4* 60 kit plane, an now I'm ready to start a 2nd plane, it has to be a kit type, because I really enjoyed putting it together. I was looking at the Great Planes extra 300s 60 kit for my 2nd choice, was woundering if anyone had the chance of putting 1 of these together? and if so, how did the project go, and any do's or don'ts about this plane would be greatly appreciated. thank you

Are you planning on flying? Or are you just strictly building? If you want a serious build get you a Carden Extra kit.

Mikie,
While I haven't built the 300, Great Planes kits are generally easy enough to build. Just take your time and follow the instructions. Be sure you understand each step before you actually try to do it, and trial fit each piece before you apply glue.

DBCherry said it right. GP instructions are very thorough and well illustrated. The wood is cut clean and pieces fit well. You should have no trouble building any of their planes. I'm not knocking Sig kits, they are great too. I'm currently building a Sig Hog Bipe and it has been a real pleasure.

I built the GP 60 size Extra and it's a very nice build.
