I finally got to ordering it like everybody was saying persistance is good
It doesn't include a reciever just a trainer cord and the extension. Why am I responding to myself? No, that's right I'm venting. Where is everybody?

I hope you are actually getting a transmitter and not just a buddy box with cord. A phone call would have been cheap insurance.
One of my motto's: You can lead a horse to water but you can't make him float on his back.
Translation: We can make suggestions but we can't make you listen. See my post #45.
Good luck, let us know what comes in the box. I DO hope you are right, it just seems so inexpensive to be real.

I finally got it!!!! I got it two days ago now and it was more than I initially expected for fifty bucks. But it was the transmitter only though...but what do I care? It works right? It's charging at my house for the past 20 hours. 4 more to go. It said that it should be charged for the first time 24 hours but the usual charging time is 16 hours. Now I have to touch up my pushrods and plug the servos and ESC into the right spots on the reciever. And I'm good to go, except I need someone to teach me. I think I'll just go to the field or something but how am I gonna get help from somebody. I'm gonna ask my grandpa's friend to help me when I go visit. And that other guy I told you about. Nothing to worry about but just more patience..............I CAN"T TAKE MUCH MORE OF THIS PATIENCE!!!!!!![:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]

I'm glad it turned out well for you. It is a very good deal which is what surprised me so much. Sorry for my previous negative attitude. If you are ever in doubt it does pay to ask, call or e-mail them for clarification.
Now as for: "I think I'll just go to the field or something but how am I gonna get help from somebody."
I would say, "Just ask for it". What do you have to lose? I'm sure you will find they are willing to help you get started properly. I think you are making some of this harder than it needs to be.
Ask the first pilot you see to point out an instructor to you and then go over and introduce yourself. Then explain your situation and desires and go from there.
Have all of your equipment with you(in your car, not in your hands) as ready to go as you can. He will probably tell you to go and get it so he(or another instructor) can check it out. Different clubs operate in different ways so I can't predict everything.
Good luck and just be patient HEHE

Do you guys know where I can get a manual of the Wattage Parkflyer Charger on the web. I've been having problems with it and don't know what to do.
And I have another thing to whine about I just found out we're camping next weekend so I can't go to the field.

Face it, you are just gonna have to get older quicker. Big problem is, once you get older, you will want to go the the other way. [:'(]
Does Wattage have a Web site? If so, look there, or check with wherever you bought the charger.

Like I said before wait until i post again to answer my questions I usually answer them myself. Better yet I won't ask any questions until I've done as much searching as I can.
Good point about the ground air thing. My dad said the same thing.
But I've learned to ignore any advice given from my dad about this hobby. He just about lost me my plane.........I had the Firebird and the park was taken by soccer practice and I was headed home and a breeze was going and my dad comes down the road from work and asks why I'm headed home with my plane. I tell him and he tells me to fly it in the greenbelt behind me. I ask him if he's sure he is so I throw it, it takes off and I turn right too get around then the wind picked up and it blew it down toward our cul de sac and I'm running toward it and am trying to get it back over but it keeps stalling from the wind. I'm running down the road and it turns around I let go of the controls and give up it goes speeding toward the ground near our house. I run through the house drop my transmitter and head out toward the backyard to hop the fence to find it. My parents are so confused they ask me what's going on. Where's your plane? What happened? I open the back door and guess what's in the dead center of our backyard. Our yards pretty big though it's like a third of an acre. But I'm not lying the dead center of our yard. I bend over and finally catch my breath of relief and my parents are still confused. I explain. AND MY DAD BREAKS OUT IN LAUGHTER!!!!!! Since then I've never listened to a word he says to me when I'm building or talking about it. One time I believe I told him to shut up. I apologized obviously.
