My Bday is in a couple of weeks, and as my winter project, im going for the Sig Somethin extra. Ive been flying the 4 star 60 for the last month n a half, and will definitly be fly her thru the fall/winter. Ive heard this is a good step to the fully symmetrical wing. Also this will be my first build in over 20 some odd years, the last wooden craft I built was a PT 109, back in the day of Ambroid glue (no ca then). Any tips on this plane, building wise, is appreciated.

Hi Groundforce,
the se is a great plane to build and fly, mine is on OS70 4s,Fataba 8 super radio,on a standard radio it is fun to fly,on a good computor radio it is a blast to fly and hotdog with,I have two,and helped withthree more, each time we built by the prints, the control rods went in the trash, use golden rods or pull/pull for the rear and a faster and better servo on the rudder, also if using golden rods or any thing similar be sure to brace the outer sleave[ so it can't move]also don,t let more than an inch or inner rod go past the outer sleave without the wire in it. My flying Buddy has an Os61 fx in his, both plans will do knife edge loops, his plane is the faster, mine has more control in 3D.
Have a goodun,John.

Hello..
I have A SE (it's an ARF) with a Saito 72...and it became my favorite plane from the very first time I had it in the air. You won't be disappointed. It does everything well...lands like a trainer.

The picture below shows it inverted...about 10 feet off the ground...it spends a lot of time upside down.

I've got the ARF SE and went crazy and put a OS 91 FX on her!!! :stupid: ......not really wize for a second plane?!?
Have had it about a month...was down for a week 'cause I left her out in the sun a little too long and the tubes in the fus became distorted!!! DON"T BOTHER WITH THEM!!!
Reworked it so that the servos are in the back, MUCH better. Helped to loose some lead also.
I can't tear the sky up with it just yet, but the verticle is absolutely breathtaking!!!!
Move the servos in the back for sure, start on low rates and have a blast....I am!
