Default Problems flying Park Zone J3 Cub

I have a Park Zone J3 Cub. I am fairly new to the hobby and just now am having some significant issues with my plane. I began flying in a fairly confined space and it flew great. Now I have a large open space and it doesnt work! My issue is I charge the battery, go out, put it on full throttle and it seems to be pretty powerful. I throw it and it starts to climb then becomes really unstable! It doesnt have enough power it seems to do anything. I go to climb and it just gets a foot or two off the ground and ends up comming down when I turn. What do I do! Is it the engine, electronics!? Whats wrong! Please help!

the prop isn't on backwards is it? I don't suppose you have a battery cycler/charger to determine if you've gotten your pack fully charged thes devices also make it easier to spot a pack that is going bad or has a bad cell.

Chances are the cause of your problem lies in the battery. might want to try a new pack. I personally have at least three packs for my electrics. 1 to fly on 1 charging and 1 cooling down. that way I can fly for a longer time without having to wait for a pack to recharge

Either a bad battery or the prop is on backward. On some of the electric props, it is very easy to get them on backward, especially for a beginner .
