J3 Piper Cub Parkzone. Killer Propeller HELP!!
IT is literally a killer propeller. I am not sure why but the engine is wearing the shaft propeller after a few second, and then it is TOO worn out to even turn!!!
Do you know where I can get a Metallic shaft Propeller???? for my J3 Piper Cub Parkzone..... I know they make it plastic for their profit, but I am sure there must be another alternative. PLEASE HELP!!!!
Thanks a lot!

what are you talking about? i've had many park flyers and they haven't had any issues... plastic props are just fine!!!
is the prop turning?
are there any strange sounds?
anything getting stuck anywhere?
funny... so hard to figure out what you are saying!!! you gotta picture?

Thank you very much for replying Forestroke!
IT is like a grinding machine...... I will take a picture this evening and I will post it. The prop turns very well, so well that after a few seconds of contact with the shaft it literally sands it off...... (like when you have a rough piece of wood and then you use sand paper to make it soft).

Give this a try:

I'm not sure what size of motor you're running, but this works well on a speed 400. If the shaft is spinning inside the propeller, this would be your answer. The prop hub attaches to the shaft with a set screw and there's a nut that holds the prop on. Hope this helps.

I MAY know what you're speaking of......I have a Slo-V, they use the same motor......I had a problem with the little nylon gear wearing out so that the prop couldn't turn.....I discovered the brass gear on the motor was damaged/worn and it was destroying the nylon gear. I replaced the motor and prop shaft and it works fine now.

Only problem I've had has been the nylon gear coming detached from the shaft where the shaft turns faster than the gear.
I have a venom motor and I use a GWS 9070 propeller that has a heavier load.
I replaced the shaft with a new one and has worked well for the last 20+ flights.
