Default Midstar wings, 1 dowel mounting?!?

Just received my Midstar kit. Noticed that the kit is setup for a single dowel for the wing. Is this strong enough or should I mod it for 2 dowels?? [8D]

Hi Fatsky,

You shouldn't have any trouble with one dowel. The way the fuse doublers are cut, they should lend support of the leading edge of the wing. At least my single dowel has been holding up for the 1.5 years I've had my Midstar flying. I even doinked mine into the ground when I failed to pull out of a flat spin in time; with no damage to the dowel or the former it inserts into.
