That looks like powdercoating to me. I think I should be able to tell if it was PSed (since I PS stuff for fun) and it really doesn't look like a PS job to me.

I would have to agree, either you have some really wierd distortion in the camera, or you just did a ad job on the fins in photoshop....

hope your using heatresistent paint ... (but maby that's not nessecairy on such a small engine .. don't know what temps you get with RC engines ...)

HAHA i figured a lot would like this !! [:-] I dont see many RC engines with a good paint scheme ! only plain ole gray ! OH and doesnt it suck that the MAC pipe isnt even powdercaoted out of the factory ? its plain high temp paint !

The powdercoat i use on these engines withstand 1600F , plus powdercaot wont , rust , chip , fade ! think of powdercaoting as worry free !

The holdup factor is flawless in this application. I had my upper intake manifold done last year along with the throttle body "and that takes in heat" and it still looks brand new ! I also worked in a piant production factory and did the harmonic balancers for the Viper , Powdercoaitng is awsome !

I hear ya there! I'm sure once I have more pictures people will be very pleased of what I have to offer, imagine a Chrome Pitts muffler coming out of that cowl!

Some people like brick, some like siding, some like stuco--some people choose to make their engines a part of the overall scheme of the plane, and not just something that has to be there to make the thing fly. I think this is an awesome idea.
