I have 2 of these engines. I use 5% nitro 10% caster and 10% coolpower.
Never had a deadstick in either engine.

just go with any common sportsfuel from your hobby shop.

I use Byron, 15% Nitro, 16% synthetic oil (and I add 3oz of castor to it, run my forstroke on the same fuel)

I run 15% and that little engine pulls like a son of a gun... even with a 3 bladed prop my t-34 will hover, or would hover if I was any good LOL....

10% - 15% nitro, castor-based lubricant (as for any ABC/ABN engine)

swixtt - the fuel is ok but synthetic fuel will not let you lean the engine as much as castro based fuel will. Castor burns at a much higher temp than synthetic lubricant. I use Cool Power for all my engines. Just don't over lean her. I would say get it to peak and then back off about 500-700 RPM. Perhaps about 3-5 clicks. When you land just touch the engine to see how hot it gets, should not be so hot that you cannot lay your finger there for like .25 to .5 of a sec.

Used 15% and 25% Cool Power on my TT46 and she starts ever so easy, I only back flip the spinner. She starts everytime that easily except the first start of the day.

Home brew consisting of 70% methanol, 10% nitro, 20% oil (16% Klotz Techniplate + 4% Advanced Degummed 1st grade Castor)

Goes like a cut snake on an APC 10 X 7! Impressive vertical for class under sustained load as well on this combo.

I'm flying a TT 46 Pro on a Kadet LT-40 and had numerous problems with deadsticks. At the time I had been using my control line fuel - Sig Champion 5% nitro and 20% castor/syn oil. One of my instructors suggested I try Wildcat 15% nitro w/18% all synthetic oil. Made all the difference in the world.

Sufficient for lubrication, less than desirable for cooling. Of course ambient conditions, amount of nitro, tuning dexterity, and operating RPM (prop & throttle) all make a difference and 17% may be enough in a cold climate.

Hot 'n humid 35 to 40 degrees C in summer here in Oz, we simply need more volume than 17% for cooling. Heard all the arguments, experimented much myself. Used to use CoolPower, but I prefer Klotz Techniplate. Both are improved for most sport flying applications with your typical sport engine, viz: TT Pro 46, by the addition of a small percentile by volume of quality castor.
