Make sure your prop is not on backward, may sound silly but I see this mistake a lot. The prop still pulls in the right direction if put on backward but is very inefficient. Also, if in doubt about balance, make it noseheavy until you get the hang of flying it.

Throw it hard and straight, not too nose high. Keep it on that heading until you get some air speed then make your first turn. If you try to turn to early, you can stall the wing and flop to the ground. This happened all the time with my Zagi when I first started to fly it.

ok thanks for that. i know u have to balance the wing from front to back (8 inches from nose) but do you have to balance it from side to side as well as if there is more weight to one side it will turn it wont it ? it doesnt mention this in the instructions though

Launch her like you are holding a tray on the underside and high. The with FULL throttle just push her upwards hard/forcefully. Then let her climb. Mine was only giving me about 70 mph on a level pass. No way it is going to hit 85 mph! I find the stock prop is best. Tried the APC props and they were not impressive. You want good fun? I used my Tazz set up with a Multiplex Microjet, that is fast!
I love the Zagi when you catch a thermal, she will just float all day up there. Very nice flying wing.
