is this the right dicision?
hi. i know somebody that flys RC, and we flight a lot together, ect. since i met him, i have been flying RTF, my aerobird. what i am going to get next is this
http://www.horizonhobby.com/Shop/ByC...odID=JRP6654**
and this http://hobby-lobby.com/stinson.htm
the radio comes with a reciver and servoes. it does not come with an engine, or speed control. Anyway, i met my RC friend in the morning before school. ( i am 13, and he flys at my school every morning) He had picked up a tail for the aerobird(more on this later) I am paying him for the tail.
He also brought a brushless moter and speed contrller. The moter is a Mighty Micro brushless, buy astroflight, inc. He said that it is equivelent with a 400. i am not shure who makes the speed control. (it has a comp. chip, with 3 wires coming out. One is a swithch, on/off, one has a red clip, probably for the bat., and on other one which i think goes in the reicever. The comp. chip is about 3/4 of an inch)
He said that he would sell me the engine and speed control for $25.
1. what is the difference beetween brushless, and brushed.
2. advantages and disadvantages
3.is this the right thing for the voyager
4your thoughts
5 do i need a gearbox, or something
now, about the tail, for the aerobird. if it has a small crease in one end, could i iron it out, or something?
thanks!
