Most of you know i crashed it. But what a better time to crash than when i did. Spring Break! This made it where i had PLENTY of time to get it back up AND it made it where i could use all the great biulding places in the house that mom normally would get mad about (Kitchen table, counter, etc.) But here she is. The fuse is completely done except i might buy some new main gear tonight. I am hoping to also complete the wing tonight. I will add pics when it is done. This was so easy to put together and the only things i HAD to buy were balsa for the wing. I pretty much salavaged everything else.

That big clamp is going to be in the way of the wing and really throw off the CG. I recommend that you remove it. HEHE
Other than that it looks very good.
PS - Be sure to clean up real good so your mom will let you do this again.

swager, yes, my instructor and i will be going otu on sunday weather pemitting and he will take it up first.
citation, most people reccomend epoxy and such, but i personally love gorilla glue and it's great glue long as you know how to use it correctly. It expands alot and needs clamping down. I got new landing gear and was taxiing down and up the street in the middle of the day (i live in a cul de sack). and i ran into the curb. I had to reglue the firewall. The spinner is a dubro spinner and i can't say enough good things about it. It withstood the crash, the curb incident today, and not a crack on it. Only thing on it is mud from the crash. The wing is glueing right now also...

Yeah I repaired a friend’s Ultra stick; he smashed that thing in 14 pieces! He was going to toss it right into the trash! I looked at it about 5 or 6 times and said hmmm I think I can fix this , I had to make a new firewall from scratch and front and read wing mounts , not to mention some section of the wing .oh and a completely new landing gear mount...
With all of this I used Gorilla Glue and I sweat to god I could fly it right smack into a brick wall at 1/2 throttle and it would do much damage at all!

Citation, That is what is planned for tommrow..
In conclusion, the crash required:
Regluing the firwall
Re glueing the bottom of the fuse and patching some pieces of wood
Reglueing 2 pieces on top of the fuse
Repairing the nosewheel piece that broke
Buying balsa
Repairing the wing
New prop. Some covering patching
Things that i got that i needed:
Landing gear
a sheet of balsa.

Do you think you got your firewall straight? I had a small issue doing mine in the ultra stick, it was off center just a tad and wanted to fly to the left all of the time.
