Default Quick Engine Question

Hey all,

Can I buy a needle valve assembly to go on the carb of [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXFMD5&P=0]this engine[/link] ? Or like a aftermarket carb with needle on it to go on that engine?

Thanks and happy flying,
IBrakeForNobody

Save yourself five bucks and buy all metal Tower hobbies needle valve assemble. I put one on old Super Tigre just to get my fingers out of the way of prop, it worked like a charm. I just richened up the old needle valve two turns. No more stitches in my knuckles. Jim

Okay...new thing ...is [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXJA86&P=0]this[/link] a good engine...my flight instructor said that TH engines are basically old OS engines with a different enmblum...or is [link=http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin/wti0001p?&I=LXKF97&P=0]this one[/link] better? I don't think the ole avistar is worty of a OS...rather put that money to a new engine.

Yes..The TT is an excellent engine. but it is only MY opinion. I have owned two, and have never had a problem with either. But then again, I have never had a problem with OS either.

Buy the tt46 pro = good all around engine with an angled front needle for a reasonable price.

I'm confused, Tower shows the TT .46 Pro in stock. http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXKF97&P=0
Why will it take a month to get one?
