hey fellow rcuni members,
my name is kurt, sn is protron, nicname is pro.
im getting into the rc hobby.
i own a avistar trainer .60 ARF
i enojoy building stick planes for fun like guillow pk kits.
id like to get some of them flying.
plz help me with some Q's

Is hitec reliable? do they have quality production?
i have futaba for my avistar.

what motor is best for inter-changable, for my kits?

can anyone tell me about amps watts weight recommendations for the airplane kits , sizes etc...

any other recommendations for motors? radios? kits?

I'll say a couple of things.

For a decent flying electric you'll want at least 75 Watts per pound of flying weight, closer to 100 Watts will get a very aerobatic bird.

However, the Guillows kits are known to make lousy flying planes, so do so more research before you actually try to convert one.

Try Ezone, they're exclusively electrics and have had many threads regarding Guillows conversions.
