Default SSE CG

I installed the the TNT landing gear on my SSE and I was wodering if someone could give me the CG point from the instruction manual. I don't know what I did with mine.

I took the plane up yesterday without adjusting the CG (Forgot to) and I barley made it back. I had full down elevator then the engine died 20 feet in the air. Getting that plane back was by far the best save of my life.

Please don't guess, if you don't have the manual

Thanks,
Andy

As Trung said, the CG is right on the spar.

3.5" back from the leading edge, per the manual. I have one of these and you're going to love her!

I've had the SSE for a couple of years now and I do love it. The biggest complaint is the landing gear and it has a tendency to nose over if the runway is a little bumpy. I like the TNT landing gear but it was $32, which included shipping and the holes for attachment to the plane were not predrilled. I can understand the holes for the wheel axels not being drilled but I would expect the other holes to be drilled out for me. Not a big deal though.

Also, what's the best way to fix a warped wing. I've had to add a decent amount of right aileron and it wasn't until somebody at the field looked at it and noticed the wing was warped. What's the best way to fix this problem.

Thanks,
Andy

Depends on why it's warped. Is the aluminum spar that holds them together bent, or are we talking the wing itself? If its the wing itself, not a lot you can do but to try and either rebuild it, or I've heard of others saying to get the wood hot and try to bend it (hot with heat iron, or even with steam). Others may chime in with better input than I. Of course if it's the aluminum spar that connects the wings together, that's an easy fix
