Hi,
I know what a 20-6 is, but what is a 20-6-10? Can an engine rated for a 20-6 use this other prop and what would be the advantage?
Thanks for any info, JD

IT'S A PROGRESSIVE PITCH PROP,CLOSE TO THE HUB IS 6" OF FORWARD TRAVEL PER EACH TURN OF THE PROP,CLOSER TO THE ENDS THE PITCH CHANGES SO THERE IS 10" OF TRAVEL PER EACH TURN, THE THEROPY IS SIMILAR TO AN AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION,LOW SPEED THE 6 IS THRUST,HIGH SPEED THE 10 IS FOR SPEED,SOME LIKE THEM SOME DON'T.

I thought that it was the other way around. The 6 at the tip and the 10 at the root since the root is less effective. I guess you learn something new every day!
