Default RE: Warning about Tower Hobbies

I've had a couple problems at Tower.

One time last summer they sent me the wrong size props. I made a quick phone call to customer service. Explained the situation and they sent me a new prop. They told me to keep the other one.

And recently, I returned a couple battery packs because I found out they were too small. I got an email saying they had credited my CC for the amount of the batteries. A couple days later I got an email that they removed the $20 discount I received on the original order because the return caused the total order to go below the minimum for that special. The email asked me to call customer service to pay the $20. This seemed fair, except I had already ordered new packs. I called and politely explained the situation, and pointed out that I've ordered lots of stuff from them. The person on the phone then spoke to customer service, came back on the line a few minutes later and said the $20 charge was removed.

It's situations like this, and the specials, that keep me loyal to Tower. They are not perfect, but when they mess up they fix it quickly.
