Our local hobby shop supports our club and its activities. He is a big contributor to our club's fun flies and Christmas party. He is a good guy that sells way under list. Yes there are problems with backorders and the such, but that is part of being in a small business. It is always nice to have someone to bounce questions off of when you need a suggestion or you are just unsure of which part to buy or what direction to head in. Yes I buy mail order also, but my LHS gets a large part of my business also. Have you ever tried to ask a question to the mail order telephone answerer? Support your LHS a much as possible, or he won't be there when you need him.
