I have the Hobbico Superstar trainer has been a pretty good plane, the O.S 40 fires right up flies good, decent radio & servo's, now on to my problem, did my pre-flight everything working great, time to fire it up, spin the prop, hear a vibration shut her down to take a look don't find anything right off start looking a little deeper & lo & behold the top of my firewall had come unglued, a little pro-bond & ca glue all is well, be forewarned about these RTF's, go over all of the frame, it seems like mine was spot glued in a few places.

You should all know, by now, that you have to epoxy all firewalls in place on the inside of your fuse. I just did a Cessna 182 H9 and half of the fire wall was not glued in. But a oz of 30 min took care of that problem real quick.......

I think most ARF's have weak firewall mounting. I have seen a couple which have the fuselage stringers notched in the firewall so it can be glued. I would recommend that the inside be completely glued so that the bond is more permanent.

I think Sideliner hit it on the mark. You need to epoxy firewalls when you get them. In my opinion, CA is not strong enough for the firewall if it comes apart.
Fiberglassing it also works.

Thanx all for the reply's, guess I will be stopping at wall-mart today to pick me up some good epoxy. guess I might as well go over the plane & check for any more spots that might have been missed.
