have just started in the rc have bought a j3 piper cup it has a 66inch wing span and is 48 inches long has a .45 royal motor . i have a futabs raido fp-tanbf would like to have a simalator that i good use . dont know anthing about them it has a round port in back looks like 6port plug in have a good pc to hook to need some help on this thanks larry

The port on the back of your radio transmitter of which you speak is the trainer jack. This jack doubles as the simulator interface cable port which in turn plugs into your computer. The Great Planes g-2, or even the older GP simulators give you the option of either the model that comes with the control box or the model that requires the use of your transmitter utilizing an "interface cable" that plugs into the port on the back of your transmitter.

would you have the simulator that i need to hook to the back of my pc? i would like to use my transmitter if possible . does it have a cd that would have my plane on ? thank you larry

I would start with FMS. You can download this for free and they have instructions on how to make the cable. You can also order the cable. Go to google.com and type in FMS RC. It should come up for you.
