Hey, Dudes I solo'ed Sunday had four flights and 3 take offs and 3 landing and brought the ole LT-40 home in one piece that made for a good day. I did manage to bend the landing gear twice and and broke two props, but I did good because one of the landing was a dead stick the end of the muffler came out and the engine died so I just had to put er down where i could. I had a good time and look forward to going again.

Dang Mike you had a busy day with that many takeoffs and landings on your solo day. Now take a picture of the silly boyish grin on your face. Probably looks something like this

The gear on the LT-40 is not the best but it will hold up well. Anytime you go home wth the same amount of pieces and in the same shape and size you went to the field with is a good thing. Props do not count in my book.

I am so glad that a plane that PIF provided is getting used and used well. PM me your address again. I am having PIF graphics made up and would like to send you some for the plane.

Almost forgot Congrats [sm=thumbup.gif]. Minn has been really busy (new house) but he will see this when he can.

mlawrencemsc,
Congrats on your solo. It's a great feeling isn't it?? I bet you still have that silly little smile on your face!! Don't worry about it, I still get it every time I fly (and I've been flying for 9 years).

That wins you one genuine RCU ATTABOY (Suitable for framing, wrapping fish, or lining trashcans)

Yup, I'm still doing them too, but between moving, and other commitments, I'm not getting online as much as I would like, so I asked Ken to help out. Thanks Ken,

and CONGRATS mlawrencemsc!
