I haven't posted in a while. Everything I had was being repaired. I had an accident with my Alpha 60 and then with my SPAD. Both are repaired now. I flew last weekend with my instructor. At the end of the day, He told me I didn't really need the buddy box anymore. Well, a week went by and I was excited about the prospect of flying again. Saturday came and I went to the flying field, but no one was there. I flew my electric plane for a while, but it was a bit windy for such a small plane. I sat down in a chair and was enjoying the beautiful day, hoping someone would show up, mainly my instructor, but I knew he didn't come on Saturdays much. After about an hour of sitting and thinking, I decided to get out the Alpha and put everything together. The more I sat there, the more I decided it would be OK if I went ahead and tried it by myself, My instructor told me I didn't need him or the box anymore.
Well long story short, "I did it" 20 take offs and landings with no crashes, not even a hard landing. I did touch and goes, for about an hour and a half. I did loops, rolls and snap rolls. It was a great day and really helped my confidence alot.
Ain't it cool.............

Congrats, now the fun begins .... practice practice practice (fun, fun, fun)!
The key to this hobby is to burn lots of fuel and get in lots of stick time to reinforce those
positive flying skills.
Have fun!
