Default Converting trainer box

I have a Futaba trainer box which is based on the 72MHz skysport 4VF. I am planning to convert it for my son to use for his trainer. Does anyone know how to identify whether the radio is hi-band or lo-band so that I can get the right crystal for it ? Thanks...................

May be better suited for the radio forum where Ann Marie from Futaba can get you an answer. Is there a gold sticker on the back?

Back in the early 90's when we went from 6 frequencies to the current array of narrow band channels, most of the transmitters at that time were able to be tuned to work in the new environment. When they were modified, a gold sticker stating such was placed on the back of the transmitter. Since I am unfamiliar with your trainer box and overall arrangement, I can't help with your question, although I am interested in the answer_bob
