You can make any plane electric.

Look in the Electric section of RCU.

If you want scale go for the Fliton Extra 330, go and see for yourself at www.fliton.com, mine is GP and its a very very nice plane! I am thinking of getting another for EP.

GP Matt Chapman is not a very efficient plane for EP ... its a little over weight. For a 40 sized EP you want about 4.5-5.0 lbs (AUW weight with a glo) for pure 3D fun and if its scale 3D nothing more than 6 lbs if you can. The lighter the plane the easier your motor will run and hence your batteries need not work so hard. You usually want about 100W per pound for good aerobatic flying and no less than 150W per pounds for 3D.

GP makes an EP version of the Chapman 580 already - but it's not 40-sized...
