My main wing sit about 1/2" higher on one side of the plane than other, the wing by itself is assembled correct, I believe its the fit onto the plane, what is the best way to level the wind, the elevator is level.

You should strive to have the wings even compared to the horizontal stabilizer. To adjust the wing, carefully sand the wing saddle on the fuselage on the side where the wing is low. until the wing fits level with the horizontal stab. Make sure that there are no wires or other obstructions that may be causing a faulty fit.

So I should sand the oppsite side of the high side to lower it?

I'm not sure that I'm reading you correctly, but you should sand the high side to lower it. Use a dremel

careful with that dremel. They can chew up a lot of wood in a hurry. Some sand paper in your hand will work as well, and you are less likely to make a big mess out of the saddle
