Default RE: using cg machine correct?k

Soory something went wrong as I said recently bought used big stik and after putting in servos I put it on cg machine according to on-line manual cg should be 4-4 1/2 in after putting it on nose almost hit floor can't see guy was flying like that and moving battery to back still have problems don't really want to put too much weight in tail unless I'm using machine wrong. It says to have stand past landing gear but plane is 60 size and rods don't reach that far has this something to do with it?
