Default Modeltech P47 still grounded....

I replaced the soft moter mount that came with the kit after discovering that the mount would flex up and down when I moved the throttle!! Took the plane to the field and now the carb barrel is sticking so now I have to take that apart and see whats going on. Also the instuctions for the SK engine seem to be out of whack IT calls for setting the high speed needle valve at 1 3/4 out to start. My engine can't get enough fuel to start at that setting. I found out that it needs 2 3/4 turns out and the engine will die if you lean it past 2 1/2 turns out. I am reading 11,000 on an APC prop. It sounds a bit low to me?!? If I can get the throttle barrel working smoothly I will try it again. Any more problems and I am considering replacing it with a TH 75. I have one on a Stuka and its been a great engine. [8D]
