Default ESC problems

i hooked up my speed contoller to the reciever and then i plugged in the battery and it only beeped once the manual says i should hear two beeps for it to armed. checked i the connections and still nothing. i have the typhoon 25 ESC #UF-PSLC2501. i am using a JR radio with a hitec HFS-04MG reciever(positive shift. any help please?

Many ESCs require the throttle to be completely down (0%) for them to arm. If you have your throttle stick down, and it won't arm, you may need to reverse the throttle channel or move your throttle trim down.

Some ESCs require that you move the throttle stick to full throttle and back down to arm... read your ESC instructions to be sure your doing it right and go from there...
