Default Hitex Chirstle

Hi guys I have been flying with Dual Convrison reciver and I had my 30 Chirstle too go out in the air and i lost my new 120 Altra Stick and a new 120 Magum. It went in at full throtle. We called Hitex and they said there wasn't any thing they would do about it.So you'll might be aware if you are flying with Hitex they will fail and it is all yours. They won't do anything about it they told me so good luck and happy flying.

Wait, so your crystal burned out or something and your airplane died? No offence, but its kinda hard to read what you mean.

It says his crystal went out in the air and he lost his new airplane. Why is that so hard to read?

Probably because of the grammar/spelling...

Just as some people have a hard time typeing correct grammar and spelling, incorrect gramar or spelling can distract some readers and make the point hard to find...

im not knocking the original poster, im far from perfect...just saying that some people do have a real hard time reading garbled messages

I bought some Hitec servos to try. One failed while ding the taxi out to the runway. It suddenly moved to full delection in one direction and stayed there while making a buzzing noise. I have about 50 Futaba servos and haven't had one failure on those yet! No more Hitecs for me.[8D]

grandad,
sorry for your loss of the plane.

i have 3 hitec radios , RX`s and servos, and have not had ANYTHING wrong with them yet and they are all about 2 to 3 years old.

i think its like any product they CAN AND WILL go bad from time to time.

was the above mentioned crystal involved in any hard landings or crashes ? ive seen a crystal dropped on a work bench and a few weeks later it was bad.

as far as hitec NOT DOING ANYTHING can you imagine the number of planes they would have to replace from people crashing THEN blaming it on the crystal ??????? and yes unfortunately people aren't always honest. !!!! they would go broke.

read what their warranty's say in the manual, most only insure the radio equipment.i would try to get in touch with a supervisor or write a good formal letter to them it wont hurt i have had good results this way.this is similar but was with a hard drive,my friend had one burn out he was a very excitable type.he sent a nasty gram to WD and the reply he got back was he was blocked form their web sight .honey catches more fly's than vinegar.......lol.i am very tenacious at getting hold of the right person at these places don't give up with just one persons answer, there is always someone else they work for that will listen...sorry for your loss that is always disheartening to lose an airplane...good luck

I don't know weather they will do anything as crystals are not covered by the warranty (read manual), and I don't know if any one of the manafactures cover crystals in the warranty. You say you have been flying with the gear, How is it mounted and has it had any knocks (damage), Crystals are very sensitive to damage.

Cheers.
