I am looking to get a nice aerobatic plane for my 3rd plane. i own a trainer and a 4 star 60. The choice is between a kangke fun 50 or a kangke cap sport 232. i would like to power the fun 50 with a os 72 or saito 72 and not sure what i would power the 232 with. if you had a choice wich one would it be and why.
thank you

Our flying field has lots of semi-beginners and they sure like the Hanger 9 Twist.($99).
some have os46 and some saito 72 to 100. plane is great flyer, lands slow..and does outstanding 3d.
I personally have not flown..(but I did have a u-can-do 46, which kept stripping wing servos)..and I would
buy the twist over the u-can-do.
just my 3cents worth.

Your decision has a lot to do with your definition of "nice aerobatic plane". The fun 50 is good for sport aerobatics including rolls, loops, and the like. The CAP is typical of good aerobatic design and will do all the aerobatics plus some decent 3D with the right engine. The Saito 82 would be an excellent choice with more power and less weight than the 72.
Several club members have flown the Twist (me included). The plane flies well but has a very weak spot in the fueslage around the wing trailing edge. Does 3D ok and is terrible at most aerobaitics if attempted to fly precisely. Loops are particularly nasty with the tail heavy conditions evident with the tail mounted servos. Take a look in the 3D, pattern and IMAC forums to see what is being flown and for additional informatin. Good luck with whatever your choice is.
