Default Nexstar wing failure

Well the Nexstar 46 was a great plane to learn to fly on but I think there a lot to be said about the way the wings are held on. The plastic wing mount broke into two pecies while in mid air and the wings came off it took about 2 min for the wings to hit the ground but only took about 5 seconds for the fuselage to hit the ground. At lease my receiver servos and motor are reuseable.

Default RE: Nexstar wing failure

Definitely looks like a product failure, but I am wondering if this plane was ground looped or had some acident that damaged it before it was flown?
I have Snap-rolled mine at high speed repetitively, and the wing has stayed on, though after your post I will be inspecting my mount also.

This is not the first post I have read regarding the wing coming detached.

No crashes and yes I did have a few hard landings like all beginners And I was getting good at loops and rolls but when the wings came off I was making my final turn in to the runway so I was low and slow which saved the motor and flight pack.
