How do you make a Nextar a taildragger?
I've got a Nextar and have had major problems with the tri gear...
I really want to convert it to a taildragfger but I;m not sur where to start.
anycomments help.. thanks

You'd have to get a tailwheel setup so the rudder controls the wheel.
You'd have to move the main gear forward (general rule seems to be, wheels even with the wing leading edge).
You'd have to remove the nose wheel.
As far as I know, that's about it. I'm sure someone with more experience will answer and be more helpful, but I had to try.

Yeah I realize I'd have to buy the wheel for the tail group and establish a place for the front gear. Just looking for advice from someone whos done this sort of thing

Thats what im looking for to....Maybe close ups of the front gear after...I know where it goes, i just dont really know how to get it there...

I've taken a look in the last hour and I think I'll put the front gear just behind wherre the gas tank is on the inside of the plane, securing it I think I'll use laminated pieces of 1/8th ply.

Do a search for Nexstar ,and look for britbrats posts. He posted some pics. I've done the conversion, it's not that hard.[sm=tongue.gif]Also check out the post for the WarDuck.
