Hi, i bought a zagi xt and its my first zagi. I love the plane but im having nothing but problems. I went out and bought a flight simulator to pratice with the wing but when i set the sim to the stock motor/battery its a real dog. Do I need to go buy a lipo for the weight. I'm having power problems on take off and once its up I normally put it into a death spiral.... Any feed back would great! Really anything at all......PLEASE.....

Needs more lead in the nose. Did you balance where specified? Fun plane when trimmed out right. If unsure balance 1/2 in ahead of where it balances now.

Yea, i have it all balanced like i was told in the instructions 8" and all but i dont know any1 that flies so the first thing i thought was it was underpowered? I'm probally wrong but the only thing i have to compare to is my sim. Thats how the sim plane reacts with the stock battery.Does anyone use the 1700 scr??

I just got back in from another failed flight (i mean 12). I have elevator throw cut back to just over 1/4. I get up to a decent speed & highth and cut back the power and it falls like a rock. The planes 100% stock with a mico reciever i dont belive its a weight issue if the stock battery isn't that big of an issue...Thanks for the input.

Are the props facing the right way? This being a pusher, the "front" of the props have to face towards the nose of the wing, meaning they will appear backwards looking at it from the rear. The stock 1700mah battery is plenty for this wing. Mine is super fast. Check the props like I said, and give it a hard throw when you launch. I think your wing is stalling, once you get it up and flying. How much reflex is in the ailerons? There should be a little "up" to both ailerons with power on, and the sticks at neutral. If there is too much reflex, it may be stalling when you cut down on the throttle. I have my reflex set on my transmitter's flap switch. I can set more reflex at launch, and switch it to a lower amount when jetting around. Once it's time to land, I switch the high "rate" of reflex on and it helps to extend the glide with the power off. Let us know how it goes, and don't give up on the Zagis.

Hey, thanks for the input! Sounds right to me, got a little confused when setting the elevons. I had them set "down" plaining with the top of the wing. So I'm assumeing that when I was trying to launch I had the stick all the way down trying to keep it in the air but in turn not letting it gain enough speed. (I think) lol. Haven't got to try it again yet, had to go to the hobby shop to get some duct tape! J/k When I was there I bought another ZAGI--400X with a brushless set up. WAAAAYY more pull than the XT. I bought it used and some of the letters are wore off the motor, does anyone recignize a brand -- LT??OARQMOTOR--.? Thanks again for the imput! MIKE-
