How accurate is the FMS Simulator for a Noobie?
#26
I learned to fly by my self using the FMS and my first plane (Avistar) still flyes
. I would say is one of the best tools for learning to Fly from "Zero" and one of the reasons its cause its free, of course no simulator until the date can simulate that feeling on your stomach the first time you see your own plane on the sky responding to your comands ahhhhhhhhh thats a good feeling.

I have tried FMS. Much like the other simulators (I also have Realflight G3), I think it teaches you stick movements for maneuvers better than anything. I do not think they are that good for basic flight, or landing. I use G3 a lot for practicing more advanced maneuvers, and I do find they transition well to the actual planes at the field.
