Trainer?

The best 60 size trainer ia the Sig LT40. It will get off the ground with a 40, even better in tall grass with a 46 and can knife edge with a 60. The plane is big, solid build, and turns into a big glider if the engine dies. Just use Futaba servos and receiver to match the Futaba radio and you are away!

I started with the LT-40 ARF, it has a 71" wingspan. The wing is one piece, so keep that in mind.
I have an OS FX 46 and it certainly is much more powerful than my friends Eagle II with an MDS 40.
Also, if it is not clear, radio compatibility has nothing to do with the plane, it has to do with the receiver and servos. UNLESS, those come preinstalled like an RTF.
